We are always looking for COMMITTED team members!
QUALITIES OF A GOOD TEAM MEMBER
Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses as a team member, and always be aware of how you are representing the team.
A desire to learn and refine your talents and skills as an investigator, as well as
the commitment to learn to use basic ghost hunting equipment. As a team
member you will be required to own (or least purchase soon-there-after) the
basic ghost hunting equipment. You will also need a laptop or desk-top
computer in order to break down your data.
The motivation to attend team functions, respond to emails or text messages in a timely manner, and always break down your data after an investigation.
Commit to team functions or investigations, and always follow-through once
committed.
Honesty about past experience, personal achievements, and shortcomings.
Have a positive mindset around your team. Keep an open mind when
approaching an investigation and stay positive when problems arise.
Treat your team members and clients how you would like to be treated. Always
be respectful.
Communication skills are imperative on any team. ALWAYS respond to emails
and text messages, and be sure to respond to voice mail messages. Simply
ignoring these messages is just RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!
Be a confident (not arrogant) teammate. Having a positive self-image tends to
result in less passive aggressive behavior. Arrogance will simply not be
tolerated.
Being able to schedule your day-to-day activities, as well as volunteering
additional time with the team requires strong organizational skills.
Pay close attention to the small things. Learn to recognize patterns that other
people may be oblivious to, and learn when something seems out of place. Being detail-oriented is a requirement both during and after an investigation.
Every investigation is different and your willingness to learn new information
and pick up new skills is crucial. Every member must adapt to the environment
around them and to each other.
Technical competency makes you a valuable asset to the team, but learning to
grasp the physiological aspect of the field makes you irreplaceable.
Keep searching for the truth. During every investigation we will always be in
search of the truth.
